Directory Overview
This directory was created as a cooperative effort between Apalachee Center, 2-1-1 Big Bend, The Florida State University College of Medicine, and the Mental Health Council of the Big Bend and supported by Big Bend Community Based Care (aka Northwest Florida Health Network). The site is maintained by Apalachee Center, the directory data is updated by 2-1-1 Big Bend and the site is hosted by Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The Mental Health Directory is meant to make it easier to find the help you need for behavioral or mental health treatment (including medication and counseling) in the eighteen counties North Florida Region. This Directory includes licensed psychiatrists, APRNs, and psychotherapists and is searchable by specialty, location, insurance accepted, language, etc. so you can find a mental health professional that best suits your needs. Should you need more information or assistance please dial 211 where a counselor can assist you over the phone.
The Mental Health Directory is limited to licensed therapists. For additional human service resources, please use the following comprehensive directories:
